Body Watts donates to
Talbot Hospice Foundation
Body Watts, a lifestyle
studio for women, recently donated over $800 to the Talbot
Hospice Foundation due to a very successful fitness and
beauty expo held in February. Fitness demonstrations took
place hourly and included; yoga, Zumba, line dancing, core
toning and Pole Fitness. Also featured were hairstyle
consultants, skin care and makeup products, reflexology,
healthy food, customized jewelry and makeovers.

Lorri Wilson-Clarke, owner of BodyWatts, a lifestyle studio
for women, has announced a free fitness and beauty expo on
February 27 from 9 am to 1 pm. Open to the public,
participants should come dressed for fitness and ready to
join the fun.

BodyWatts Lifestyle Studio
and Women’s Gym is proud to announce the addition of their
newest team member, Bertha Bryan. Bryan leads an active
lifestyle with a long history of practice in exercise,
fitness, diet, and nutrition. In addition to her B.A.,
College of Notre Dame, Bertha is a certified ServSafe Food
Protection Manager, and Red Cross Certified in CPR, AED and
First Aid.

CELEBRATES 6 YEARS OF CHANGING LIVES
Door Prizes, live
entertainment, refreshments, and demonstrations of Pilates
Reformer and Zumba were featured at BodyWatts’ anniversary
party celebrating 6 years in business and 1 year at its new
location in Easton Plaza. BodyWatts tripled its size by
moving into a 7,000 square foot space previously occupied by
Breeders Best in the Easton Plaza Shopping Center in 2008.
Owned by Talbot County resident, Lorri Wilson-Clarke, the
lifestyle center originally opened in 2003 under a franchise
known as Slim and Tone.
Baby Mama Boot Camp New at
BodyWatts

Wilson-Clarke, owner of BodyWatts and Julie Phillips Corson,
a personal trainer and Pilates teacher at BodyWatts announce
a new fitness class, Baby Mama Bootcamp, designed for new
mothers and their babies. Wilson-Clarke says “BodyWatts is
very excited to offer this class, the first of its kind in
Easton”. “Many times moms say they are too busy to exercise,
and with this class we hope to bring fitness into their
lives” continues Wilson-Clarke.

is pleased to announce that Marylou Garrett Macdonald has
joined the staff of BodyWatts as Spa Director. Macdonald has
more than 30 years experience in the salon and spa industry.
She received her certification from The International
Institute of Reflexology in Advanced Reflexology, is an
administrator of M’Lis Wellness and Detoxification Programs
and Aesthetics and a licensed Maryland Cosmetologist.

BodyWatts Lifestyle Studio in
Easton announces the winner of it’s annual contest known as
BodyWatts Biggest Loser. More than 30 members competed for
12 weeks to lose the most weight. The winner, Joyce Philip,
received a one year membership valued at more than $500.

of massage services and the hiring of Christina “Chrissy”
Chance as Massage Therapist. Chance is a 2006 graduate of
Chesapeake College Applied Science of Massage and a licensed
massage therapist in the state of Maryland. Chance is
founder of Touch of Soul Massage for Musicians. She is a
Talbot County native with one son, who is enlisted in the US
Marines. Chance’s experience includes working in her own
massage business, Body Specifics Massage and most recently
as a massage therapist at the Hyatt Resort in Cambridge.

Brown Promoted to Manage BodyWatts

2007, Bonnie Brown has been promoted to Manager at BodyWatts
Fitness and Pilates Studio. A lifelong fitness enthusiast,
Brown has a long-term relationship with free weights and
strength training. Her fitness history includes a stint as
an amateur competitive bodybuilder, but she now focuses on
staying healthy and helping others to achieve a healthier
more active lifestyle. Brown says that “I am proud of my
team of professional trainers known as the Bod Squad, who
are constantly helping to create new weight loss and toning

results”.
