held at our current space next to Railway market for the month of
May while our Mind Body Studio receives it's finishing touches.

YOGA STARTS Monday, May 5th
Jennifer Mims, certified Yoga Teacher will be offering several
levels of Yoga including Yoga for Weight Loss at BodyWatts. Classes
start on May 5th.
For New Yogis, here are some class tips. A complete list may be
found online at Mind Body Class Tips.
Please remove your shoes upon entering the Mind Body Studio as a way
of respecting the ancient tradition of the East and to provide a
clean environment in which to practice.
Have a light snack but wait for 1 to 2 hours before your practice
after having a meal. You will enjoy your practice much more!
Please do not wear perfume or heavy scents. It can be a health
hazard to some and prevents others from experiencing deep breaths.
Invest in your own mat. We have mats for use in the studio but it is
not as hygienic or as meaningful as practicing on your own mat.
BodyWatts Boutique sells 1/4 inch thick mats in a rainbow of colors.
Jennifer
Mims, Certified Yoga Teacher
Jennifer is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. Her 200
hour certification was earned from YogaWorks (combining Iyengar,
Ashtanga, and Viniyoga influences). In May 2007, she completed an
additional 45 hours of Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training, the first
step toward her 500 hour certification. Jennifer specializes in
hands-on instruction of asanas and customization for each student.
Her hope is for students to feel physically energized and mentally
peaceful at the completion of practice.

Turning 50 is just a number
When I was a young 20 something I would never have imagined myself
in a bikini at age 50. I remember what my grandmother looked like at
age 50, and although I loved her to death, not in a million years
could I have imagined her wearing a bikini.
Well times have changed . Although I was dreading the big five O, it
was one of my best birthdays ever!
Through the creation of BodyWatts I am living my dream of empowering
women. Helping women to look within themselves and take a chance,
whether that be in her work, or by stepping foot into a gym, by
